Raya?

not as giddy as i would be. no new shoes but i do bawa my new baju melayu. no takbir on the final night of ramadhan di rumah babu. no family gathering, the night before raya. no "kempen" bersihkan rumah. no temburong. its just not so 'raya-ish'. sigh.

no abang being annoying waking me up untuk sembahyang hari raya. no mama to ask "ma, ngam sinjang ku?". no mama to sambut kami dapan pintu balik sembahyang raya. well, usually she'd be there. kalau nada, arah meja make up tah ia tu. haha.

can i just go back home and spend the first day raya with the fam? no? at least i can salam the rents. no?

SELAMAT HARI RAYA everyone. saya si Anak Liau meminta maaf zahir dan batin. =) enjoy, while i sit for my exams.

courtesy of babu, now we can drink bandung. thanks babu for the home made manisan. a must for every Ramadhan, babu's bandung. =D today we made a bottle untuk sungkai. indakan aku minum sorang. semua jua orang rindu bandung di sini ani. except, ive got my own yeos for me. xD

i texted mom today, telling her i missed her. "kenapa kau rindu mama? mama lagi tia, rindu hantap". haha. cali wah mama ah. i love you mama. =D and buyuk, kamu ke KL march. time aku nada baru kamu kan ke KL. apani.

Homesick.

friday, right after school, i went down to london, ALONE, to surprise babu. and i succeed! haha. her reaction was funny. spent the weekend with babu, ez and kaka feezah. siiiuuuuk. friday malam ez and i setaie went around london macam si banar. haha.

saturday morning, we left london for canterbury. pakai taxi, took us around 2 hours with our very own moving wikipedia. the driver seems to know everything UNTIL, we reached canterbury. pandai ia inda tau jalan. masa otw, annoying, semua tempat kan di explainnya pasal history. aircond inda ia mau buka, save minyak nya. window kan turunkan "it disrupts the aerodymanic". haaaish gila eh. toasted!

we stayed arah kaka mimi. terawih di canterbury. house full of bruneians. reminding me of home and what ive been missing. sigh. sunday pagi, went shopping for rumah si mueez. macam shopping di Jaya back those days masa babu selalu bawa kami dua shopping. =D

petang, i left canterbury ALONE. here's my route. tu down there.




45 minutes pakai bus from canterbury to ashford. then an hour and a half pakai train ke victoria in london. lapas atu i had to find my own way from victoria to st. pancras pakai tube, which took less than half an hour. left st pancras for bedford, which took an hour. in the end, 20 minutes from bedford to cranfield. im amazed how i survived all those ALONE! =D

sad thing is, homesickness is kicking in fast. spending weekend with dorang. babu is like a mother to me sudah, treating me a like a son. kaka feezah and ez, macam adi beradi. sudah di bedford, i felt lonely. i started to miss them, family back home, especially mama. sigh. i miss you woman. loads.


ps; no pictures pasal i left my camera in london di bruhall. haha. careless bah. its with ash now, phew. good thing i didnt lose it.

Happy Birthday to Arif Koh Hisamonie Koh. [19th Sept]. instead of surprising him tomorrow, we decided to go with Brunei time and surprised him tadi instead. he was, obviously surprised.

"iatah aku hairan ramai orang hari ani. pasalnya esuk jua birthdayku" indirectly saying he's expecting ramai orang sungkai masa birthdaynya. haha. if we were to surprise you tomorrow, i wouldnt be around. iatah mesti today. hoho. you have a nice one dude. wish you luck in everything. woot. haha.

i FINALLY did sport. main futsal tadi. yes, sweat. after weeks. masa puasa. maaan i was pening. ku langgar urang putih wah masa main ah. and nash as well. sorry. blame the dehydration. woot. well thats not the reason im posting this.

again, we were studying about sleep credits.
"Neill, if you're 'getting some', wouldnt that affect your credit consumption?"
he laughed and went "uhuh Al, i think so." haha. membari malas bah belajar banar banar ani.

after a few minutes, he whispered masa belajar ah. "Al~~". i turned around and ia cakap "i tend to use some extra credits before i go to sleep every night". HAHA! if you get what he means.

and yesterday. kami belajar pasal stress pun. we were given a list of problems with stress rating. do you know its more stressful to get married than actually lose your job? guys, think twice now. haha. then ada this problem 'sexual problem'.

Neill, again. he asked the instructor "Susan, is not getting enough sex considered as sexual problem?" HAHA. talor bah anak sorang ani.

2. John.
this is simple. Paul asked me about this cloud bla bla bla thing from this weather chart. sekali he asked Tom. "what would you want to work on your plane when you're in this situation Tom?". the answer would be Airborne Weather Radar. but si John mana mau lurus. he went "the engines!". haha. im not sure if you guys would find it funny but the whole class laughed. you dont see Paul making a face and saying "smart ass" everyday. he's one strict chap.

Bosan.

im bored as hell and im yet to do at least 3000 mcq's for our exam. gaaaah. biar ku main dota tadi balik skulah sorang diri. but yeah, unstressing meself from school. today, we were studying about sleep. yes sleep. we have credits rupanya. for an hour of sleep, you have 2 credits. for each hour you're up, you're using up one credit. and when we were studying that, i was sleeping. haha. taking it literally.

i did this 15 facts bla bla blaaa. and no im not tagging anyone. im just plain bored.

woke up and it was almost 3. we stayed up late last night. kami main dota right after sungkai till 3.30 kah tu. terus sahur. 5 hours of dota, explained why i threw up. mauk dota. haha. weekend is as boring as it can get when you're stucked in cranfield. its quite dead. make it dead quiet. =/

i texted mom saying how boring puasa is here without those food from brunei. sekali hari atu masa webcam she went "apa nyamu makanan sana boring? kesian pulang mama. especially sahur. sabar sabar tah saja. tapi mama liat badanmu atu makin naik". haha. blame it on the chocolates. x)

Struggle.

i struggled my way to sleep last night. this burning sensation inside my perut kept me awake. ive no idea what caused it. mun food poisoning inda jua, sama saja what i ate macam dorang. but maaan wasn't it painful. sahur pun ku inda sanggup bangun. bangun pagi, it was better sikit.

again, i spent my morning on the net before rushing my way to school. haha. school was okay except my tummy was bothering me and my head kept on saying "oiii tiidurrr. kau inda cukup tidur".


orang break, aku stay di class. paning bah.


went back to Mitchell, liat ada paper arah pigeon hall under I/J. tarus ku check, iski. it has me name on it. baru jua kan antar arah reception, she went out with my parcel. tau ia sudah barangku. i think she likes me. woooot! haha. my DBH shirts sampai. hilang tarus sakit kepala and sakit perut ulehnya.

London.

went to london yesterday with apip, zul and azim. datang arah central station, train delayed. pasal ada apa kah angus somewhere. what a way to kick start our day right? we waited for almost 2 hours kali tu. then off we went to london. =D

datang sana, inda tau apa apa pasal tube. inda tau ke mana apa. haha. it took us a while before paham all the tube system. well, just a tube ride pulang tu. then pandai tia. sampai one station away pun kan pakai tube. pemalas jua udah tu kan jalan.

first stop, Brunei Hall. kan ambil ticket si zul and azim for peter pan concert. sunyi ah Brunei Hall. orang brunei abis bejalan. lerrr.

next stop, Oxford street. jumpa amal before zul and azim left for their concert. kami tiga tah saja jalan jalan and then terus sungkai sana.

Ramadhan.

almost a month and ive 2 files. both kan panuh. sigh. studying isnt gonna get any easier during Ramadhan.

3 days sudah puasa. so far, it has been boring. bukan boring apa, but yeah. sungkai and sahurnya yang boring. dont you miss being around family masa sungkai? the noise, the joy. heh. biasanya ada tah ku tu di dapur "ma, apa mama masak hari ani?". masa sungkai riuh tah tu and all. si apip sama dilah kana marah pasal liat tv masa makan. haha. and lapas sungkai, we'd spend time cerita cerita di kitchen. terawih at amit. aku bilal kali ah~ haaaish. once in a blue moon. haha. sahur pun nyaman. i miss ayam masak merah. =(

zul woke me up masa sahur first day, then zudin and di malam azim. karang siapa kah lagi ni. sungkai kami pun asal inda jua saja. skulah macam biasa, nada membagi chance. but we spend our lunch time sleeping in class ramai ramai. tadi 7 of slept di class. haha. siuk.

i want to go to manchester next week and eat REAL food. sana nyaaamaaan nyaamaaan. kaka bibi, belanja coach lagi ah? hehe.
